SUPPORT TRUE TEXAS VALUES
PROSPERITY AND OPPORTUNITY
Fight for affordable healthcare – healthy people create a prosperous community.
The best place for children to be educated is in their local neighborhood school. Vouchers subsidize those already sending their kids to expensive private schools at the expense of local neighborhood schools.
Support education and training to create jobs in growing industries such as tech, healthcare and renewable energy.
Champion small business, the growth-engine of the economy.
DOING WHAT IS RIGHT
Support immigration reform that’s humane, offers a path to legal status and promotes personal responsibility.
Demand term limits, campaign finance reform and end to partisan gerrymandering so that citizens can elect representatives who serve their interests rather than lining their own pockets.
Promote energy independence with more focus on clean, renewable sources.
Not beholden to old, outdated and failed ideas and tactics.
Protect Constitutional guarantees of personal freedoms including the right to bear arms and the right to reproductive choice.

Immigration is central to my story, my family is central to the American story, and I am a believer in the American Dream.

Effective, comprehensive public education is a fundamental building block of our democracy and the key to our continued prosperity and opportunity. As a product of public education, I support it 100% and believe the best place for most children to be educated is in their local neighborhood public schools. We must make sure these schools are not threatened by ideologies and initiatives that seek to deprive schools of vital funding in order to promote expensive and ineffective private and religious education. Vouchers deplete resources from those schools and only provide enough subsidy to wealthier parents who were already sending their kids to expensive private schools.
Emphatically, I do not support depleting public schools to provide vouchers for students attending private or for-profit charter schools and will do everything possible at a federal level to prevent such initiatives. While this is primarily a state and local issue, I will do everything possible at a federal level to promote public education.
Jana Lynne will combine her Texas Values with her business know-how to serve the 6th district.

I am running for U.S. Congress because I love my country and I want the future for Texans to be as great as our past.
I have always been a person who likes to solve problems – to see an opportunity and seize it. Texas District 6 is made up of almost three-quarters of a million people from all walks of life – employees, business owners, students, homemakers and others. I will do my best to represent all of their best interests in a time when the world is extremely divided on political, religious and social grounds. I want to remove special interests and the extreme ideology of both sides, and focus on job creation and core Texas values of independence and doing what is right.
I’ve led a truly blessed life. I grew up in Maypearl, Midlothian and Waxahachie. I went away to Rice University on scholarships and financial aid and with the help of family. I am grateful for the experiences I have had living all over the country and in Europe: I will bring what I’ve learned to serve the people of this district.
I am a self-employed businesswoman who has never had any aspirations to run for office before now. I see a district that is in dire need of an ethical and competent representative truly accountable to the people of the district.
I believe citizen representatives should go to D.C. and represent our interests for only a short time, and then return to the district to continue serving. I am fully in support of term limits.
